Our designs combine the character of yesterday with interiors
for today's lifestyles. We believe that good architecture has a
timeless quality. Even though many of our houses speak of the past,
we design for the way families live today. We understand that our
clients may include work-at-home parents, kids and pets so we design
homes that fit the family, not make the family fit the home. We
understand that good designs come from the collaboration between
our clients and ourselves. We know how to design homes but only
they know how they live in them.
In addition to taking inspiration from yesterday’s homes, we also
take inspiration from a home’s site. Site and home should be as
one. It is important to us that character of home and location compliment
each other. We want our designs to fit into their natural surroundings.
All buildings should have a rhythm and be pleasing to the eye. Every
building should respond to its site and each facade should be appealing,
not just the front. By combining appropriate materials and details
in our designs, we believe we achieve that end.
